Gina Dunkum

Office Manager

Gina has worked in dentistry for 30 years. She was an assistant for 15 years and has since worked as an office manager and with insurance. She is excellent at helping patients understand the discount they get from insurance, why insurance is not meant to cover everything, and how to minimize overall cost to the patient. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially during drag racing events!

Sarah Melville

Front Office Personality

Sarah has contributed to the dental field for over 25 years. When you call or walk into our office, you will be greeted by her lovely voice and bubbly personality! Sarah is well-versed in the dental field with experience in multiple private practices as well as specialty groups. Outside of work, Sarah can be found with her husband and two boys at various concerts, soccer events, and anything outdoors!

Becky Reeves

Hygienist

Becky has worked in dentistry for over 40 years! She graduated from J. Sargent Reynolds Dental Assisting Program in 1980 and from VCU MCV Dental Hygiene Program in 1987. She has worked in private practice and at MCV School of Dentistry & the Public Health Department. She lives in Chesterfield with her husband, dogs and cats. Becky and her husband enjoy the dogs, outdoors, and local excursions outisde of work. Becky has recently slowed down to 2 days a week to enjoy more time with her family and friends!

Ashby Oliver

Lead Therapy Dog

Ashby is the sweet daughter of Dr. Oliver’s original labrador and therapy dog, Chattam. Ashby is a certified therapy dog and 7 years old. She enjoys greeting patients, belly rubs, and making sure that they’re comfortable in every step of their dental journey! Outside of the office, Ashby loves to spend time with her human family and running around the country chasing anything you throw for her!

Ashby had puppies October of 2022, two of which are now our next generation of therapy dogs!! Meet Miss Lily and Mr. Ocho!!

Lindsey

Lead Assistant

Lindsey is our lead assistant and is striving toward becoming a dentist herself. She is from Wytheville, Virginia and graduated from Virginia Tech in the Spring of 2024 . Lindsey joined us in August after working with Dr. Oliver at the Missions of Mercy project in Wise, Va. Lindsey is lovely, kind, and fun as she seats patients, takes x-rays, and assists Dr. Oliver and the office in a plethora of ways. Outside of work, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her family and dog, as well as traveling with her boyfriend John.
